NUMBER STRIDE — Free Number Runner & Math Puzzle Game

Carry a number through sixty fixed runner stages, each with twenty to sixty three-way calculation gates. Change lanes using Left/Right arrows or touch swipes; the gate in your lane applies automatically. Negatives, powers, roots and reversals reward looking ahead. Finish at or above the target. The run never stops between gates; pause fully covers the track. Local progress and undo, sound off by default.

Platforms & play modes

desktop, tablet, mobile. Single-player survival. No human multiplayer.

Controls

The number runs forward continuously. Left/Right arrow keys or touch swipes change one lane; the gate in that lane applies automatically. Z undoes, R restarts, P/Esc pauses, M toggles sound. Phones are portrait-first with landscape support. Pause fully covers numbers and formulas; the route preview does not pause movement. Hitting a marked undefined/out-of-range gate ends the run, without NaN or automatic lane correction. Zero and negative numbers otherwise continue. Finish every gate, then final displayed value >= target wins, including a tie. Exact integer-cent arithmetic rounds half away from zero to two decimals after every operation; display and actual inputs agree. Sixty fixed stages, twenty to sixty choices each. Local records and stable run saves after each gate, no accounts, gameplay APIs or cloud save. Every document starts muted; language follows the portal URL only.

How many choices are in each stage?

Every stage has at least twenty choices. Later chapters extend to sixty, arranged in purposeful combinations. Only the final value decides the result.

Can I stop and continue later?

Every completed gate is saved on this device. Refresh to resume from the last stable gate. Movement never stops between gates: pausing fully hides the track, and viewing the route does not pause it.

Is choosing the biggest number always best?

Early stages teach arithmetic. Later stages combine negatives, squares, reverse subtraction and reciprocals so planning ahead can beat greedy choices. All future formulas can be previewed.

How do I control the runner?

Use the Left/Right arrow keys on desktop, or swipe left/right on phones and tablets. Each gesture changes one lane. Choose before reaching the gate; formulas are applied automatically.

Free to play. No downloads or sign-up. Sound starts off; enable it manually.
